It's a shame we didn't have too many votes this year. Not even 1 full page of submitted ballots, and many group tie awards as a result of the lack of votes. Despite me winning 2 awards (not to mention a few group ties, which only took 1 vote in their respective categories for me to earn), I don't acknowledge any sort of bragging rights for either category I won. Nonetheless, thanks to those who casted votes for me.

Frankly, this simply wasn't our year activity-wise. Hopefully, once our community hits a growth spurt in activity, as we come towards the release of the game in the distant future, we can look back at this year, and recognize how pitiful the activity of the forums is today in contrast to the future. No offense to any of our community; there's nothing much we can do to spark up forum activity atm.

Shall we have some sort of rise from the slump of activity in the forums next year, hopefully next year's official awards will have more meaning to them. That's not to say that any of the awards won this year weren't credible. So congrats to everyone, as the awards are well-earned for y'all keeping faith in POL and remaining in the community to make an impact on it this year!

I remember when POL had way more submissions than this one on harris's forum.

I couldn't have said it better myself, Travonte. Our activity has its ups and downs (More downs than ups, lately) but since POL has moved to this forum, we have had spurts of activity in periods of lifelessness, but they usually don't hold for more than a month or two. The real solution is to just stick it out and wait until the release when (hopefully) we'll get much more activity.

I love how you can get both "Noob of the year" and "Best comeback" at the same time.
